ABSTRACT
Oroantralfistula (OAF) is an abnormal communication between the oral cavity and maxillary sinus, requiring closure to prevent complications. Small OAF may heal spontaneously, while larger ones require surgical closure using local or distant flaps. This case report describes the occurrence of oroantral fistula in a 64yr old male patient and its successful closure using a palatal connective tissue pedicle flap.
